CAN in Automation e.V. organizes a CAN technology day in Kraków in Poland October 10th. The CAN tech day is intended to discuss latest developments in CAN-based networking such a CAN FD for CANopen or J1939. Additionally the CAN in Automation e.V. provides news about CAN-related standardization activities.

The agenda includes the following topics:

• CAN FD and its physical layer
• Optimization of CAN FD networks
• CANopen FD and J1939 FD
• IoT applications for CAN and CAN FD

The CAN technology day is accompanied by a table-top exhibition of various CAN and CANopen companies. emotas embedded communication GmbH will present its latest CANopen and J1939 stacks and tools suitable both for CAN and CAN FD.
