The collaboration enables both companies to leverage their combined experience in this area, targeting to further improve the offering for CANopen, SAE J1939 and CAN\/CAN-FD.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Within the partnership, HMS distributes emotas protocol software and tools, and consult emotas for the continued improvement of their software products. emotas will act as distribution channel for HMS\u2019 IXXAT\u00ae CAN hardware interfaces bundled with emotas&#8217; software tools. The collaboration will also include that emotas will offer custom hardware and software development, benefitting from HMS\u2019 strong hardware engineering and supply experience.<\/p>\n<p>emotas and HMS share a long history of active involvement in specifying the CANopen application and communication profiles within the CAN in Automation working groups, as well as when it comes to developing corresponding protocol software solutions.
