His diploma thesis was about an automation system to get measuring values.
From 1990 on he worked on different projects in the automation and was as senior engineer responsible for the development of communication stacks for CANopen, EtherCAT and also Powerlink. His focus lies on CANopen. Here, he participates in the task forces of CAN in Automation e.V. to put the developments of this protocol forward.

Andreas is sales manager of emotas embedded communication GmbH.
Besides, he prepares and holds CANopen seminars and is responsible developer for embedded projects.
