CANopen software for your device development

CANopen is a communication protocol based on CAN, which is defined by CAN in Automation e.V. (CiA) and internationally standardized as European standard EN 50325-4. It defines basic services for process data exchange as well as for the configuration of devices. In addition to CANopen, other device and application profiles are defined and developed and maintained by CiA and its members. emotas is actively involved in the further development of these profiles. Because current requirements are always taken into account, we can offer our customers CAN and CANopen products that are always up to date. Core products are the emotas protocol stacks and bootloaders. Convenient analysis, development and configuration tools round off our product range. We also offer in-depth CAN/CANopen training, professional consulting services and, if required, individual embedded software development.
Since the release of CANopen FD (CiA 1301) in September 2017, we also support the CANopen FD protocol with our stacks and tools.
