emotas embedded communication GmbH won the “Gruenderpreis des Saalekreis”, a price for start up companies on Wednesday 21th October 2015. The managing directors Andreas Boebel, Torsten Gedenk and Steffen Rose of emotas received the price from Hartmut Moellring, Secretary for Science and Economy in Saxony-Anhalt.

“We are happy that we won this price, and about the recognition of our achievements that is connected with it.”, said Andreas Boebel.

An independent jury reviewed the concepts of the participating companies with special focus on business idea, marketing, economic success and regional engagement. The Saalekreis administration does not only want to support young companies with this price but especially wants to support innovative, new business ideas.
And this ist where the strenght of emotas lies. The company, founded already 4 years ago in 2012, offers software solutions for industrial communcation. It is the only company in the market which offers software solutions for EnergyBus a communication protocol for E-bikes and pedelecs.
