The emotas CANinterpreter is a versatile tool for monitoring and recording of data traffic in CAN networks and its analysis according to proprietary or standardized higher-layer protocols.
A number of available PlugIns extends the range of functionality. The development of PlugIns on customers’ request is of course possible. Use cases can be e.g. use of the tool as service tool or as diagnostic tool for devices .
The emotas RawCAN Stack is a powerful CAN stack in source code. The stack is developed in ANSI-C and it is MISRA-conform. CAN devices can be quickly and easily developed or extended with our CAN Software Stack.
Compared to the basic CAN routines often provided by micro controller manufacturers our RawCAN stack and our own CAN drivers provide reliability and additional functions
ISO-TP Client/Server Stack
emotas does not offer a separate ISO-TP stack, but the ISO-TP functionality is included in our CANopen, J1939 and CAN-MultiProtocol stacks. Both ISO-TP client and ISO-TP server functionality is covered.
UDS Server Stack
Our UDS server stack implements UDS on CAN and it is based on ISO-TP and can be combined with our J1939, CANopen and CAN-MultiProtocol stacks.
The CAN MultiProtocol Stack supports various CAN based protocols in one devices. Based on the uniform CAN driver API and the universal CAN Queue Implementation the CAN MultiProtocol Stack supports CANopen, EnergyBus, SAE J1939 und proprietary protocols in one application. Especially gateways between various protocols can be implemented in a fast and straight-forward way.
